PhobOS Repository

The PhobOS Repository is mainly a KDE repository for Fedora Users. It is providing packages for cutting bleding edge technologies or packages that are not (yet) in the official repository. As soon as the package is supported good enough by the official repository, I will drop support for the package.

Please be aware of that you are using these packages on your own risk. Some of the packages contains the latest KDE technologie and some are not even supposed to be release for a wide range of users. Keep this in mind, before installing any package! Always be aware that each package might break your system, drive a voodoo priest into insanity, kill kitten on the other side of Earth or even worther... might install MS Windows on your system. ;) So you had been warned! Requirements

Please only use these packages with the latest Fedora version. I am only supporting the latest Fedora version as cutting edge technologie does not make any sense on a stable system. RPMFusion is also an expected requirement for this repository, but should be used by nearly all Fedora users. Please notice that this package is only supposed being an "addon" and will not remove or change any packages from the official repository!

Using PhobOS

You can either use the repository directly using "rpm -ivh http://phobos.floriansievert.de/phobos-release-16-1.fc16.noarch.rpm". This will install the Repository on your system and you can install all packages with yum install. Using this way, you are getting (the rarly) updates automatically. If you do not want to add the repository just browse throught the repository and fetch the package of your interest.
